Biography Matthew Knight is Director of Energy Strategy and Government Affairs for Siemens plc.Siemens provides a range of technologies and services for fossil and renewable electricity generation and transmission, onshore and offshore. Siemens is also involved in finance and development of energy projects.Matthew has a background in grid projects and offshore wind farms. Matthew is a Board member of Renewable UK, the trade body for wind and marine renewables, and chairs its offshore wind strategy group.He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the IET’s Energy Policy Panel and has been involved in a range of other industry bodies.
